Similar to other doctors’ offices, an appointment with a naturopathic doctor typically includes an in-depth health history, physical exams, recommendation of necessary laboratory tests, and prescription of a treatment plan. An initial visit typically lasts 1 to 2 hours.
Second Visit: 1/2 hour or 1 hour
This visit is usually 1 to 2 weeks after the first visit and includes any additional physical examinations required and a review of lab or diagnostic testing. In this visit we also discuss progress from the initial visit, and any questions or concerns that may come up. We usually begin implementing a more detailed treatment plan in this visit.
Follow up visits: 1/2 hour or 1 hour
The frequency and duration of follow up visits varies according to your specific treatment plan.
It helps us make the most of the time during your visit if you:
Bring copies of any lab results or medical records to your appointment, or arrange to have them faxed to us in time for your appointment.
Bring any supplements/medications that you are currently taking to your first appointment.
In the light of COVID19, Naturopathic Clinic has switched some appointments to either phone-based or virtual appointments if it is appropriate for your care.
To arrange a time for an appointment, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of the contact us page. Once you submit the request, we will follow up confirming your online consultation appointment date/time.
